I feel like my launch into life as a communicator/designer began with the Stoutonia newspaper. As Arts Editor, I helped to revitalize the arts section of the UW-Stout college newspaper by turning it into an insert and expanding boundaries with content. Managed six reporters, two designers and a photographer.
Since then, I collaborated with friends to design ads and lay out a monthly community newspaper in Minneapolis, wrote and designed newsletters for Capitol Sales, and designed a newsletter for Americorps.
I currently provide layout and design for a monthly local newspaper, the "Hay River Review" and regularly produce newsletters for Habitat for Humanity.
